WH nut 553 #4 Posted June 1, 2013 My lawn is a 4 beer lawn. I set a cooler in the lawn where I know I will need a refill, at which time I move to the next location.
dsholler 54 #5 Posted June 1, 2013 If your lawn is pretty level, you can put one of these on the hood, and then you will have a spare... http://search.defender.com/?SI=0380ab90-fdc2-4aa1-aa39-99b859bb5d1f&Action=14&AXD=http%3a%2f%2fwww.defender.com%2fProductDisplay%3fprodnum%3d600683%7e600683%7eEdson+Stainless+Double+Drink+Holder%7e33.99 Or if it is bumpy, you need one like this... http://search.defender.com/?SI=0380ab90-fdc2-4aa1-aa39-99b859bb5d1f&Action=14&AXD=http%3a%2f%2fwww.defender.com%2fProductDisplay%3fprodnum%3d400256%7e400256%7eSea-Dog+Gimballed+Drink+Holder%7e9.99
Tankman 3,523 #6 Posted June 1, 2013 You could also change a shift knob to a beer tap (your choice of brew), makes you mow faster.
neil 2,410 #7 Posted June 1, 2013 HobGoblin Real Ale good choice . I just love those real ale premium beers . The garden looks fantastic. What River is at the bottom of the garden ?
philpjuk 19 #8 Posted June 1, 2013 dsholler, great idea! I have the guts from a 12v fridge that was in my boat, using that I could use a length of plastic pipe to take two bottles and fasten it behind the seat! well thats the cold beer.If I weld a sheet steel "cupboard" to the silencer I could have a hot pie with it!.Then maybe a CD player with headphones!.Only half the grass was mown yesterday will have to finish it today,at least the sun is still shining! (and I have some beer left!)
philpjuk 19 #9 Posted June 1, 2013 Thanks for comments on garden! The river is a non navigable stretch of the trent near newark (UK) the beer is £1.35 from morrisons!(hope I`m allowed to say that!)
thehorse 221 #10 Posted June 1, 2013 When in a pinch...use a piece of PVC pipe big enough to insert a can coozie inside. Fasten to fender or hood and cold beer is always at the ready. A wh paint job and sticker on PVC to complete. Placed properly, could be a nice mid mount hood ornament! I could not do it to oue of my horses so I do laps around the yard. 4-5 laps and its a garage stop for a motivational, libation break! I have to ride bronco style so I don't end up with a milk shake. Your idea is pretty great also....and keeps the hrs down on the tractor!
