randy244h 0 #1 Posted May 30, 2013 hoping for some diagnostic help.i have a 1991 244h with an onan E140V-N/10964B, serial #D913794538. started to have stalling problems this winter. (when blowing snow). after a about a 45 minute cool down it would restart. eventually it did not restart this winter. now i have a no spark condition. i would like to know how to ck this ignition coil (module assembly) on and or off the engine.i did notice the primary coil lead has 12 volts whether the ignition switch is on or off. thank you for any input. randy244h 0 #3 Posted May 31, 2013 thanks for some direction Garry. the service manual was a big help. and also a note about the coil primary wire which I thought was hot.this was another wire routed underneath the coil module to the regulator. chuckhn 0 #4 Posted August 26, 2013 I am having a problem with hard starting and weak spark when engine is first started. After started engine runs great and if you shut down it will start right back up, till it sits a couple of hours than its hard to start again.
