Shuboxlover 481 #1 Posted May 30, 2013 For a whopping $50. Said his son used it to mow with the other day, came and shut it off, now it won't start. I think I'm in love with this little guy

Tankman 3,523 #3 Posted May 30, 2013 Gorgeous! Why did you spend so much? Cry yourself to sleep tonight! You are definately going to jail! Nice Horse! Good luck with the Stallion (you lucky duck!). The seat is awful, you should've offered a little less.
Fordiesel69 271 #4 Posted May 30, 2013 I never get good deals like that. When you say he turned it off and now it won't restart, does it just crank forever? Does it not crank at all? Is the engine stuck or will it spin by hand? Is the starter gear somehow stuck outwards. These are all things that will help us, help you more thoroughly. Shuboxlover 481 #5 Posted May 30, 2013 Honestly, for the price, I didn't even try and spin the motor by hand. He did say though that he would turn the key, and nothing would happen.

rmaynard 16,321 #9 Posted May 30, 2013 Is that a 1974 or 1975? Either way, it looks great. When a B-100 doesn't run, it always turns out to be something simple. By the looks of the tractor itself, I don't think the engine was abused or neglected. Everything looks well maintained.

Earle 3 #22 Posted May 31, 2013 if its green let it sit, if it is red take it and run! That, no brag just fact! ........ Earle
Fordiesel69 271 #23 Posted May 31, 2013 The 36" deck with 10HP + hydro is about what you want to have. A 42" with 10HP + hydro would be a bit much for the engine to handle. My B100 with a 42" SD deck really works hard when the grass gets a little high.
