Xjchief 128 #24 Posted June 14, 2013 So I got the commando 8 going new connecting rod cleaned carb battery fired right up What drive belt should be on it it's a wheelhorse 9691 cus the transmission pulley doesn't stop enough to put into gear any thoughts?
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,500 #25 Posted June 15, 2013 9691 should be the correct 1/2" x 70" belt. Is the belt guard installed? Must be on to force the belt slack to the engine pulley. Garry
