Tjreiss 0 #1 Posted May 25, 2013 Hi I just got a wheelhorse c160 and the wiring burnt so the people rewired with new ignition and it was only a 4 prong so I went and got a 5 prong and rewired the whole thang and it's charging now and I was wondering if its disposed to stay running if u unhook the battery or die thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,510 #5 Posted May 26, 2013 If the charging system is working it would keep running because the ignition coil is still getting 14 volts provided it is battery ignition. Later on there was a decal on the tractor warning about running the engine without the battery connected. It would damage the electronics. Garry Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
