thinking of a diesel engine

i was looking through the warehouses like harbor freight and northern tool. i spotted a "Hatz-diesel 7hp w/electric start". it has a 1"x2.84" shaft on it. started toying with the idea of what it would look like on  a 8/4 speed 1-01220-8. something i not really sure it will work, but it might surprise me and will work. i just may stay with the kohler i have on it though.
