More ££'s for it would of been nice, but I do now (well, will do once the 856 has been collected) have the funds to buy the next Wheel Horse.. Which is what counts

Hi all,

I thought it's best to finally show my face, I am the lucky person who won the 856!

I have been on the hunt for a wheel horse for a while to add to my ever so lonely C141 and when I see Ian's 856 I knew I had to have it as not only is it quite a rare wheel horse it's a great restoration opportunity.

The plans are to get it going and running and have a little play and then hopefully tear it apart and restore it to original condition, maybe even in time for next years ardingly show!

I will get up a thread after I've collected it which is hopefully the end of this week.

I look forward to meeting a fellow RS member!

Thanks all! I will get the thread up once I've had. tinker with it. It is 2 years younger than my favourite wheel horse model, well spotted! And the wheel horse is 32 years older than me!

Neil - At the minute I don't but I'm always on the lookout for one. St the moment I only have a 8 speed c141.

Sorry for the late response here Tom but I think you got a bargain there. Given the rarity I'd have expected it go for way more than it did.

Please be sure to run a thread on it when you start the resto as we love following and looking at the photos.
