310-8 Over Charging Cured

Recommended Posts

boovuc

Well I finally had time to solder in a couple of diodes in the 310 tonight. My plow horse was charging at 16 VDC all winter long. With the exception of a little "sticky-outy" horseshoe shaped wire at the harness now, I'm charging at a steady 13.5 to 14 VDC regardless of engine RPM. Thanks for all the help from everyone and of course from "SOI".

Now I have a tractor and deck that fits inside my fenced in "Dog Droppings Zone". If I miss a "pile" and I push mow, it can get messy!

Save Old Iron

You're welcome Boo.  I think ..........

SOI technology used on the "cutting edge" of excrement evacuation. Just the thing I was hoping to accomplish with all my years of experience !!

Glad my fix was able to put you back into the "Danger Zone".

Next year we might have a heads up display for the 520's with forward looking infrared to help you avoid contact with fresh stealthy "steamers".

Always remember to use a side discharge deck in the drop zones. Rear discharge, (just like the dogs), tend to pile up on the rear tires!

Thanks again, SOI!
