Straight From the Horse's Mouth Final Edition - First Looks

Yes I am lucky!  Today in the mail I received the very first copy:

 

And the DVD

 

 

Unfortunately, these are the ONLY pictures I am allowed to post (actually I don't have permission to post the DVD picture, but I didn't think it could hurt.)

 

I haven't begun to read the book, that will come tonight.  My reference is the Second Edition which I have have read and have sitting on my shelf.  So even though I haven't read the book, here's my initial thoughts.

 

First, WOW, the quality is amazing, no kidding.  The pages are heavy paper, fantastic binding, this is a true collectors edition book.  Next, the pictures, absolutely beautiful.  Crystal clear, fantastic quality and there are a lot of new pictures, that I haven't seen in the second edition.

 

So that's all for now.  I will begin to read this tonight and give updates as I go along.  I'm also planning on watching the DVD!

So I have watched the DVD.  Very nice, there's a lot of great footage, not unlike the video's which our members make of their horses at work.

 

There is also a picture which was taken by a member here on the forum!  In fact, the picture made it in one of our Calendars, and now the book!
