Lawn Ranger help!

Recommended Posts

JackM

Hi guys.

Kind of new to this but I have a Lawn Ranger in desperate need of decals and engine and other things including a gear knob and new seat.

Just wondering if anybody can help out?

Cheers, Jack

Ah, down the road from Neil in Bridgwater!

There are a few different models, take a look on my sites wheel-horse.co.uk and restorationdecals.co.uk and see if yours is on there.

Alternatively post the serial no and we can take if from there :)

The slightly older type has a round metal hood.

Oops! Meant model number :)

Thanks, meant model no. Though from that serial number it sounds like is a late 60's US model

There were 3 front tyres on that auction site a few days ago. Rears easier to get on that site too!

In fact still there, look up 13 5 6 tyres. They are in Cambs and a low price!

It looks like you gear shift knob is actually attached to the deck lift.  For that model the knob was just a plain round black ball.  Your seat looks like it is from a later model, should be a one piece seat cover with a white center.  There is a guy here in the states that makes reproduction seats but you would probobly be better off getting one made at a local upholstery shop.  But you can find the seats in the Vendor's section
