THE TRACTOR SOLD FOR $440. THE TRACTOR WAS AVERAGE NEEDED A BATTERY,SEAT AND A BATH. THE 42" DECK WAS THE WORST I HAVE SEEN IN A WHILE. SOFTBALL HOLE IN THE TOP REAR CENTER,CAVED IN THE FRONT WITH RUST HOLES AND THE ADJUSTER WAS ALREADY HAD A WELD REPAIR. THE 16HP BRIGGS MOTOR RAN AND TIRES SEEM TO BE OK. I FIGURED AROUND $250-$300

Challenger

How many hours on the machine?  What would it have sold for brand new back in the day?  If available brand new today what would it retail for?

THAT MODEL DIDN'T COME WITH A HOUR METER. MY GUESS A GOOD BUY WOULD HAVE BEEN 2400-2600 AND TODAY 4000-4500 WITH A BRIGGS TWIN ENGINE.
