LED lights on my GT14

Recommended Posts

KC9KAS

Added LED lights to the back of my GT14.

I also added a 2 function electronic flasher. I have a 3 position (ON-OFF-ON) rocker switch to operate the lights.

Think I can be seen?

Excellent! Looks like a Stallion to the rescue!

Think I'll try it on my 520, for the grandkids to admire on a summer evening.

I think I felt an epileptic seizure coming on there.....that is bright even with the garage lights on...at night it will be like in Christmas Vacation when Chevy Chase finally got his lights to work....the neighbors will be blasted....

Someone may mistake you for a fire truck, be careful you don't get a ticket for impersonating an emergency vehicle :handgestures-thumbupright:

Simply sweet though, where did you get the flasher unit may I ask?

LED's from here: http://www.bigrigchromeshop.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?page=BRCS/PROD/MCLALL/TX-TLED-BA

Flasher was custom made from a guy that makes/sells LED's for motorcycles. I know alternating flashers can be bought from NAPA and other auto parts stores, but be sure to buy an Electronic Flasher, as a regular incadesent bulb flasher won't work!
