Just Piddling 0 #1 Posted August 12, 2008 After debating for a few weeks about making a loader for my horse and improving the front end and steering, I came across a deal on a Shibaura 4x4 18hp diesel with FEL. Now after a long discussion with the family bean counter, I agreed to sell the 520 to get the tractor. For the moment I still have both and will probably sell around fall/winter. Please don't be upset with my decision, as I just did not want to start heavy modification to the great condition of the 520. I will make sure it finds a good home and I will still need a mower (hopefully a cheaper smaller horse). Thanks for all the info ya'll have giving me in the short past. T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,346 #2 Posted August 12, 2008 I'm sad to see you sell the 520, but I think getting a bigger tractor/loader is probably a wise decision. It's also sad that you have to let the Wheel Horse go for the funds needed to upgrade. Hopefully you will find another Wheel Horse as your mowing machine.
