bo dawg 518 #1 Posted August 11, 2008 I was looking at some pic's in yahoos wheelhorse groups and saw something unique and thought I had to post it here for all to see, if you haven't yet. Never tried to put a link on here before so I hope it worked. http://ph.groups.yahoo.com/group/wheelhors...tos/browse/2ac5
Teddy da Bear 11 #2 Posted August 11, 2008 It says you have to join to view. If it is a picture you could copy it to your computer and then post it here.
Nick 13 #3 Posted August 11, 2008 Show name sounds like the Bluffton Indiana show, just over an hour drive but I have not went the last few years. The tractor looks interesting. I "borrowed" the pictures to post them. Clickable thumbs of the pictures.

It is a cool looking what ever you call it. I just had to share it with all. The guy said it moved out and operated great! Thanks B)
redfordie 0 #6 Posted August 11, 2008 i agree it looks really good but as in miths Mystery project, without some sort of articulation between the too halfs its going to be somewhat limited. good find tho.

He may have some "power" articulation in there, but it's hard to tell. Both trannies are hydros, so.....maybe. He could use turning brakes on the front to steer with, but it definately wouldn't be as effective. Still, a very interesting and unusual setup. Definately got some originality to it! Duff 206 #8 Posted August 12, 2008 He may have some "power" articulation in there, but it's hard to tell. Both trannies are hydros, so.....maybe. Just a SWAG (scientific wild-a$$ guess) here, but that round housing covering the joint between the two halves could be hiding some type of chain and sprocket steering system? In one picture I think I can almost make out an extension to the steering shaft attached to a U-joint then to a vertical shaft down between the frame rails of the front section of the tractor...... But I'm no engineer, and these old eyes ain't what they used to be! Duff
