Both jets are bent on my k181. (main and idle). It is a carter model N. Does anyone know where i can get the new jets cheap?

I don't know what you consider cheap but brand new jet needles for the K181 Carter N are available from many vendors online:

232635-S   Main Needle- about $20.00

200438  Idle Needle- about $12.00

Mark,

The number u gave me for the main needle is correct, but, when i type in the number for the idle it comes up: Kohler Screw. Is this correct?

I checked again and that is the right number, 200438 for the idle needle. I guess some places just refer to it as a screw.

If the needles are bent... make sure the seats are not damaged either.

Ok thanks again Mark,

that is what I was going to do tonight was  check the seats.

Hopefully whoever bent the needles up didn't do so by beefing them down in to the seats.

whoever bent it did not damage the seats! :banana-tux:

I went ahead and got a carb off a 10hp k series motor, figuring it would be the same (it wasn't, but thats a story for anotherday) so i just took the needle out of there, slapped it into my k181, and it ran PERFECT!!!!

Thanks for all your help everyone!
