Jake Kuhn 1,579 #1 Posted April 25, 2013 Hi guys, Finally a new tractor in the collection of my own. It is a pretty nice 867. It has been repainted at one point, but the body is nice and straight. I think this one will end up getting restored in the future, I tryed all summer to get a decent 65-72 but I bought hydros and don't plan on doing that again after dealing with two terrible leaking trannys! This one ran great last fall but my fuel pump gas gone bad so I need to have it rebuilt. Everything on it is in pretty nice shape other than that, even still has the cigarette lighter. It has a decent logo seat on it as well, and I just put a brand new headlight lense on it. I purchased this one from my dad as it came in the big lot of tractors he bought last fall and It always seemed to call my name. LOL Well here are some pictures of it. ~Jake has some neat tail lights on it!
Tankman 3,523 #2 Posted April 25, 2013 Looks like the Horses I had in the early 70's. And, the Stallions worked! Do you have a deck? Mine were rear discharge, towed a sweeper, beautiful Horse and lawn too. Have fun cleanin' and restoring. I never saw the little bullet lights on the rear. They were never stock that I know of. Cute though! Nice Horse, I am jealous, envious, recalling fond memories.

My dad said I couldi have a deck with it as he has a bunch, but I don't know if I'll ever end up putting the deck on. Those lights I know are not original, just kind of neat! 546cowboy 302 #4 Posted April 25, 2013 Nice tractor Jake I think you made a good choice. I just put a deck on my 656 and it looks good now although I did put a Carroll Stream knock off on it.
MarkPalmer 81 #5 Posted April 26, 2013 By all means get one of the 32 or 36" decks and mow with it- only because they cut so impressively! The 867's 8 speed is also a limited slip, and the tractor plows snow a whole lot better than anyone thinks it would. It's a little tractor that loves to go out and work all year round. Your seat and hood decals aren't the ones original to the 867, but myself I don't care about those sort of things too much. -Mark-

Ken B 3,189 #10 Posted April 27, 2013 Looks real nice Jake. That would make a real nice tractor to push snow if you aren't going to cut grass with it.
