Just finish my Wheel Horse pallet racking storage for my tractors. It wasn't easy but its final done.....

LOL i was the forklift. I use a lot of rachet tie down straps,ramps and muscle. The ones on top are down the road projects.

Well looks like you have projects to last you awhile. Sure would like to have a set up like that in my shop but then I wouldn't have the cash to buy more horses.I did add a loft to my shop and I do have a skid loader to get stuff up there. I have parts from my old truck, extra engines and parts, hunting stuff and on and on. Amazing how quick a 40'X30' building gets filled up isn't it?

I have been keeping an eye out for some pallet racking for the same idea. I don't know how I will get a mower/GT up on top, but maybe the GT's on the floor and other lightweight stuff above.

 

I too have a 30' X 40' pole barn, and it would still be too small if it was 60' X 80"!!

Looks very nice! WE have the same setup in our barn and get 3 rj's in one section and we have the bottom open and then two more rows kind of like you have. We put them up there with our forklift. We have 4 sections set up at the moment and plan to put up another one sometime this summer. It has given us a lot of room and we are a lot more organized in the barn now!

That was the best part about the pallet racking I was looking to for awhile intill I stop by bargain outlets they had tons of the racking they were trying to sell from there store displays. I ended up buying 4 12 foot uprights for $20 each and the beams were $10 each. This is the best part i went back two weeks later to buy more racking and the owner ask me to make and offer on the rest of the racking. There were 75 beams and 25 uprights left. So I offer her a crazt price of $200 bucks for the rest.She took my offer! I took what I needed and would love to keep it all and sell it but didn't have the space and time to sell it on cl. I spend 3 hours going back and forth to the scrap yard nd got $750 in scrap!!! That was a good day!!

I would love a forklift but it was just me my trusty racket tie down straps and ramp. Next time I'm going to rent a forklift. I had a boat load of the pallet racking at a great price I ended up scraping the rest made about $550 bucks. I wish I would of kept it but had no space for it.
