1965 855 44 #2 Posted April 19, 2013 I looked at that thurs, it was priced to me at $200 and he said he would even deliver it. However it was really rough. The hood even had heavy rust.
546cowboy 302 #3 Posted April 19, 2013 Are you kidding me $200 and deliver, you didn't buy that? I would have not asked a question and had that in my driveway. I would like to have a C-195.
1965 855 44 #4 Posted April 19, 2013 Well what can I say, I just collect the early stuff. And fyi the deck in front of it was not included, it looks red in the photo but was actually orange.
1maidenfan 202 #5 Posted April 19, 2013 The wheel weights are worth that asking price. Sure would be nice to find a deal like that in my area.
VinsRJ 723 #6 Posted April 19, 2013 I would have to agree... alot of great parts at minimum on that tractor

Fordiesel69 271 #8 Posted April 19, 2013 That looks like the old style k series twin that like to throw rods. Not much uses for it unless engine was confirmed good / then operated on level ground. But for 250 it was a steal for parts alone.
Dieselcowboy 210 #9 Posted April 19, 2013 What is the difference between a c195 and a c175?

I'm lost. I thought the KT 19 was fine. It was the Gen 1 KT 17 that had low pressure oiling that didnt like when they were used on extreme side hills? How can you tell the difference just by looking at it from this far away?
SousaKerry 503 #11 Posted April 19, 2013 KT-19 was fine never had the problem. C-195 is 6 inches longer then a C-175, and had loads of goodies to go with it. It was dubbed the "Super C" cause it could come with rear PTO, 3 point hitch, Dual Hydraulic outputs better steering larger tires beefier front axle, ya know all the good stuff that they should have offered on the smaller tractors, The down side was all the attachments were special in some way, but with 3pt and PTO you could buy almost and attachment for it. Your right, I missed the part that it was the c-195 and got caught up by the eye candy. Even if it was worn out, the $250 was worth it for the parts alone. refracman 167 #13 Posted April 19, 2013 Your right the about the parts thing, rear weights 200, PTO 500 or more, and if the motor was toast stick a Onan in it and go.
Kelly 1,033 #14 Posted April 19, 2013 That was a killer deal, even if the engine was junk, C-195s are hard to find in any condition, I paid $200 for one in pieces
refracman 167 #15 Posted April 19, 2013 Did a little googling and someone in Medina Oh got it, and it looks like it is getting parted out, 650 will get you the PTO if you need it
papaglide 542 #16 Posted April 19, 2013 That sucks in a way. The parting out I mean. But on the other hand it makes parts available to keep others running.
tractorbeast 27 #17 Posted April 20, 2013 The PTO was put on Craigslist one or two days before the C-195 was listed. I think its a different person. steve
