Tires 'n Rims

Recommended Posts

Tankman

While out yesterday, I picked up a pair of 23 x 10.5 x 12 turf tires mounted on rims.

The seller threw in a pair of chains and black plastic filled wheel weights, 55 lbs. each.

Great deal!

Question, after gettin' home I noticed the valve stems will face the outside of the Horse when mounted. The wheels were off a Deere.

I don't know if I'm going to get along with (or like) the tire valves facin' outward.

All my currently mounted tires have the valve stem facing inward.

I can't use my WH baby moons with these rims.

It may not be a problem since many times the offset of the JD rims wont clear the under fender fuel tank. Going by your siggy you only have two machines they may work on, the Raider and the 73-12auto.

Did ya buy them for the rims? Or the tires? You could get the tires swapped over to a different set of rims.

Thanks Mike. I picked 'em up "cause" (don't have a clue why, just $$$, almost free).

I do have three spares for the Horses. Enough tires.

Guess I'll sell 'em but keep the chains and weights. Two items I did need (like a hole in the head  ).

The purchase was a "bundle" sale. Very inexpensive, no travel or shipping costs.
