Dieselcowboy 210 #1 Posted April 18, 2013 If it would ever stop raining here , I am ready for some major field work. Just a couple pics I wanted to share. And one sad image of when it came here not running with a broken piston and flat tires.
546cowboy 302 #2 Posted April 18, 2013 Wide dual ags and why does that front look so wide? Is that a C-160? That looks like a worker for sure. You need to paint it like a IH 560, red and white. That's what it reminds me of when I look at it.

Dieselcowboy 210 #8 Posted April 18, 2013 Very observant. It has a JD 210 axle and rims. 1" spindles and roller bearing wheels. Also has a sweep to it like the 520's for a fraction of the cost. Nothing better than parting out a JD and saveing a WH. right? J/K I have a front end loader I use on this tractor also.
546cowboy 302 #9 Posted April 18, 2013 Hey I've got the front axle from a JD 212 and that is an interesting idea. I may just have to do that. I was wondering what I was going to do with that front axle. There is a story behind that 212. I was at the scrap yard looking to see if they had anything with a Kohler (i needed a starter) and the 212 had one. So I bought it for $40, do you know you can't get the starter off without unbolting the engine and lifting it up? Anyway I got the starter and put an ad on CL for the trans and sold it for $100, Now it seems I have a use for the front axle.
CasualObserver 3,411 #10 Posted April 18, 2013 I saw that question and was going to answer "shhhhh.... it's Deere parts grafted onto a Horse......" I've seen that modification in the past. You also have to modify the control arms for the spindles if I remember right. I sold a friend the front axle and spindles from a 74 110 that I parted to do the same thing. It's a nice little upgrade... wider stance, slight forward sweep and1" spindles. Real nice if you want to carry weight or put a loader on the front. If anyone wants to do it... you need the front axles and spindles from a square fender 110/112 or a 208/210/212/214, and front wheels to fit full 1" spindles. SousaKerry 503 #11 Posted April 18, 2013 I am not ashamed to reuse good parts... I used to run a motor from a Deere in my c-125, it was built by Kohler after all. Of coarse I replaced it a year later with a KT 17-II from a Cub
