I was outbid on an RJ-35 on eBay

Only 20 miles from my house, and I thought I finally had a chance to get another round-hood. And a classic at that, So I bid until my budget was exhausted. The final price was $605.00. I didn't get it. I wonder if anyone here did.

I saw that one, not a bad price for one. Maybe we'll get lucky and it will of gone to someone on here. :)

I was watching this one too since it was one that was actually close to me also. I really just want those front wheels, but was definitely watching the price climb quickly.

thats on the cheap side for a RJ35 but sence it is missing some of the correct parts.

motor pully, belt guard, motor tins it probably sold for a average price for the shape she was in

I agree with Brian on the price. It is missing the engine pulley which is not all that hard to find seeing there are repros out there for a reasonable price. Of note the veri-drive is installed backwards becuase of the funky reverse disc set up. The hood looks like its in good shape and that is one of the main poist I look at when considering an RJ. Overall I would call it a nice RJ for the price.

Bob ya gotta put your best bid in during the final seconds of an auction if you can. It keeps the price lower by

not running the price up with multiple bids plus you'll win more auctions that way. It's called snipe bidding.

It may seem rotten as hell but after you continually lose to people who bid this way you wind up joining them.

I now bid in the final seconds and it's usually a pretty high bid but not all the time. I use to lose 80% of my

bids. Now I win 80% of my bids.

Butch,

I am the king of snipes, but this thing was out of control for me a day before the auction ended. I've got a 701 to finish and it was between trying to win this RJ-35 or finishing the 701. I opted for my 701.

I was watching this too. In north carolina these are difficult to find, and the ones i do find are where you are. A long way to drive.and most will not ship. And if the did it would cost me $$$$$.i'm looking for my 1st one.Yes i'm just finding out about these.
