neil 2,410 #1 Posted April 9, 2013 The 1960 suburban that was auctioned on that auction site starting with E & ending with BAY Bidding was slow for the first few days with nothing happening at a start price of £650 and it finally finished with a price tag of £1070 which is around $1638 These tractors are so rare here in UK that the prices are doing really well even in the current financial climate. We hope to see the buyer join redsquare soon
VinsRJ 723 #2 Posted April 9, 2013 For a Suburban to sell at that price in the States it would have to be plated in 24K Gold.

Anglo Traction 761 #4 Posted April 9, 2013 Thats silly money. Alright if someone can afford it and nice to own one............ Way outside of my pocket and too far away. Then again, I've got at least that much into my 2 Tractors.

neil 2,410 #9 Posted April 10, 2013 It just goes to show how desireable these little guys are , but it is alot of money , i dread to think what an RJ35 or a senior would fetch
wheeledhorseman 579 #11 Posted April 18, 2013 Wasn't me!! That is a lot of ££££ but somebody thought it was worth adding to their collection with that price tag and two other bidders thought it worth almost that! Always an issue with auctions. I could have two more Ds for that - no that would be a silly idea. I could collect enough A-800s to start a red tractor display team - no that would be excessive perhaps but the idea's not without some merit. Hmmm, if I could get a few of you with trailers to bring a horse over on the same day I do have a little field where we could practice and make a video to post on Youtube. Sort of like the Red Barrows only on WHs Andy

Anglo Traction 761 #13 Posted April 19, 2013 If there were enough people with Cultivator/Harrow attachments, you could call them 'The Red Harrows Display Team'

Save Old Iron 1,571 #17 Posted April 22, 2013 It's only money and that barely buys a pair of good shoes these days. I know, Right? I had to put snow tires on my wife's winter Porsche this year and that cost just about the same. Luckily the tires on her summer Porsche don't need replacement until next year. I keep telling her to use the Mercedes but she loves the excitement of the 911's lift throttle oversteer in the winter. Doc, things are getting tight out here in the real world.
