Thought i would post an update on my progress. I had a chance to wire wheel the frame down hopefully i can prime and maybe paint tomorrow. Brought it down to the basement to warm up hopefully, while the painted parts cure. Then on to the rear end

Finally seeing color on the frame ! I wetsanded it last night with 600, painted this morning a little cold but the paint flowed without a run. Gonna start on the rear end soon.

Thank you for the compliments ! The tires are old general float tracs. Theyre in great shape but ive never seen that tread style before maybe theyre original ????

Hi all, i had a chance to begin reassembling the chassis before i move onto the engine. Im taking the wheels to get blasted tomorrow hopefully. I made it about an hour and a half before our power went out go figur e on my day to do it but i was determined and worked for another hour by a citronella candle then gave up. Th en the power just came back two hours later so i figured id snap a pic before i went to bed hopefully by next week i can take it for a test drive i ordered a bushing for the steering and some other parts but its slow going with my school work load

I had a chance to scrub sand and finally paint the engine today. My brothers poking fun because the engines bkack and not red but i like it hes joking. Hopefully i can get some pics of them together soonn let me know what you guys think

I got my new decals in the mail today, bought them from the folks at redoyourhorse.com. Took a little over three weeks to get them but they were worth the wait, look to be of excellent quality haven't applied any yet but so far they look great.
