Twins AGAIN....joined a new "club" today....

Recommended Posts

Shuboxlover

Today I not only got twins again but I joined the. . . .

SUPER "C" CLUB    X2

Now, granted they are in pretty rough shape, but they are pretty complete (minus the fenders  )...I have wanted one of these for quite a while.  I will have many questions on these once I dig into them, but the first one I have is...IS THE PLASTIC FENDER ON THE 195 THE SAME AS THE OTHER PLASTIC FENDERS?

I know the pic is VERY VERY bad. I'll get better ones, I promise!!!

No, the fenders are not the same as any other model.

Yes the fenders will fit from other plastic fendered tractors, BUT you will have to cut a few holes to make them fit, the gas filler hole, and the one for the hyd controls, no metal fenders will fit, unless you build them like I did for my Diesel loader 195, oh ya welcome to the twin super C club.

Thanks Kelly, I looked at them real quick and wondered if one from one of my C-105's would work (with a little mod)....

Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the delivery! Now I never had twins delivered before, but at one time I had 8 of them.

Are your both 82's?

Like Kelly said they all will fit, but you have another option. There is a gent on Ebay who sells them, he makes them to order from fiberglass. They are top notch replacments.

Congragulations! They look like fun projects. Definetly looking for more pics. Now that I have a BlackHood, I am really liking the  C-195. One of those is on my list now.

Here are better pics...the one with the RED hood is in better shape than the one with the black hood (not saying much though).  They both have their quirks....the steering in RED is messed up, but the front axle in BLACK was broke and re-welded...

Just curious what you guys thought, what would you have paid for these?  I think I did just O.K. but wondering what you guys actually think.  I hope I didn't over pay for them, but I really have been wanting one of these so I guess it was worth it to me.

Why would they have the same model number, but different style tags???

I would guess if they both run good, $800 tops for the pair, a 3 point would make it higher but you didn't say either had one, I heard the 82/83 c195 used the same model no, and they really never made a 83

There is a guy on line (selling on ebay) that is reproducing the fenders for these. I purchased one from him and was happy with the end result.

Yeah, I like the front bumper too. Given Kelly's figure of $800.00,  are you comfortable with what you paid for the pair?

Depends where you are for the price. The one with fenders is a $800 tractor out this way by itself.   I've also bought the fenders Steves talking about. If you go direct to him the price is better. He had them listed on here before There good fenders.

Congrates on the twins, I have 8 for the moment

Duane....Are you telling me that you have eight C-195's???

I paid $600 for both of them....plan on restoring at least one of them...then see where that leaves the other one.

Also, would the 60" deck from my 520 fit on the C-195?

I think you fellows may have come up with a method of determining the model year of the 01-19KE01.

1982 used a riveted ID plate

1983 used an ID decal

So far have not found anything different.

The one with the 26019 serial and 288 Julian build date always puzzled me.

There is a good chance Shuboxlover's 26169 is also 288 or 2288 because it lands in the same batch.

Now I see serial 26420 has a 2294 build date so the 288 should be 2288 making these all 1983 models.
