RJ 58 sc. 6 #1 Posted March 10, 2013 hello my friends up north, no snow here in sc.need to know what size drive pully to put on my kolher engine going on a RJ 58. 3 speed trany wich im re-building now.parts came in today.put new bushings in and wrap it up in the morning. I had a 5in pully on it but it just wants to stand straight up. thats why it has a wheelie bar on it. I'm thinking maybe a 3in pully for less torke. please let me know if you can hellp. wallfish 15,959 #3 Posted March 10, 2013 Yup, 2.5" engine pulley and a 29" belt -- if you have the original trans pulley on there. I bet a 5" pulley really gave it some speed.
