Kevbo 81 #1 Posted March 9, 2013 Ugh I think I made a big oops...wasn't getting much spark and I assumed that these plugs came out of the coil but it seems that they were not supposed to...what so you guys recommend? Does anyone have one they would be willing to sell? See pictures below:
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted March 9, 2013 No biggie..... you simply pulled the plug wire out of the wire end. Use a pick or similar tool to pull it out of the coil tower. It might put up a bit of a fight, but it'll come out. You should be able to reinstall it on the end of the plug wire unless you destroy it during removal. No worries though - they make new ones every day. To give you a rough idea of what's in there, look at eBay item # 270634633345
Wheel-N-It 2,976 #3 Posted March 11, 2013 (edited) Kevin, NAPA can get you a new set of plug wires for the KT-17. If they have trouble finding the part number, PM me and I will look through my receipts for when I bought a set for my 417-A. I can get you that NAPA part number. Probably why you were not getting much spark is because those old plug wires look really old and broken down (insulation wise) Edited March 11, 2013 by Wheel-N-It
