fourwheels0 191 #1 Posted March 8, 2013 well the storm Saturn was just too much for my little b-80. as you can see i didn't get much plowed before a rear hub let loose. the hub that broke was wallowed some to start with. the previous owner had let it get loose and didn't check it. i tightened it up but it was too far gone to hold up to the heavy wet snow we had. surprisingly though that 8hp never bogged down once. now i'm on the look out for a 1 inch 5 lug hub. Lane Ranger 11,411 #4 Posted March 9, 2013 My brother David had one of the half moon keys break on the rear axle one of the two Whel Horse 1054's they ue with 54 inch plows an chains for cleaning the drives. He was n the process of claning a cousins (thrid driveway that day) of the 12 inches of snow they got in Northwestern Indana from Saturn and the key gave way. He was towing home with the other 1054 Wheel Horse and the wheel/tire fell off! Not a great day for David. All back in order now with new key! I just wish I had a picture to post of this!
