muz 0 #1 Posted March 2, 2013 Does anyone know the size of the three screws that hold the carburetor in place on the Wheel Horse 310 (241 Kohler engine) Thanks!
Anglo Traction 761 #2 Posted March 2, 2013 (edited) If your Carb is a #26 Kohler, then the screws are Slotted Hex head 5/16" x 18tpi x 1". 2 off. Think they are the same length for other carbs as well. Edited March 2, 2013 by Anglo Traction
rmaynard 16,350 #3 Posted March 2, 2013 (edited) You mention 3 screws. There are only two as described above. If you are talking about the three screws that hold the air cleaner plate on to the carburetor, they are 10-32 x 3/8" Edited March 2, 2013 by rmaynard
Anglo Traction 761 #4 Posted March 2, 2013 Does anyone know the size of the three screws that hold the carburetor in place on the Wheel Horse 310 (241 Kohler engine) Thanks! Ok, my response was for fixing the Carb to the Engine i.e the two screws. If not , follow Bob's information for the three screws.... with 1 point of caution...... Check the length you need first. Some of the Filter Housing - Carb Screws are only 5/16" long (measured from under the screw head/washer, as they are very close to the Choke shaft in the Carb Body and can pinch the shaft when tightened. muz 0 #5 Posted March 3, 2013 Thanks. I know here were three screws and they hold the carburetor/air filter assembly onto the engine. They are also fine threads and I was hoping to buy some on ebay.
