Wheelhorse84 87 #1 Posted February 27, 2013 So here is yet another question. When I put my 416 at full throttle after about 20 seconds or so the throttle lever actually moved slightly down decreasing the rpms. I have to raise it back up to full throttle. It keeps on doing this. I remember seeing a thread about squeezing a part with needle nose pliers to tighten it up. I just can't find the thread. Which part do I do this to? Kelly 1,033 #2 Posted February 27, 2013 It works sometimes but squeeze the pivot that hold the handle on, I have had to take them out so I could lay it on a piece of steel and hit it with a hammer, I've heard of people drilling them out and bolting it back together using a lock nut to adjust how tight they want it. jgrins 1 #3 Posted February 28, 2013 I had a similar problem. Linkage between the throttle and governor was loose. This was some kind of actuator controlled by the fan (?). Sheet metal screw was the loose item in the linkage. I thought it was fuel pressure. Looked all over for a kit, then tightened the nut and all was ok.
