Dieselcowboy 210 #1 Posted February 25, 2013 Would anyone happen to have ever found a source of the carb rebuilding parts for an H55B on a suburban 550? Or is there a suitable replacement that might fit decently? I had my 550 running on almost full choke so I took to carb off and cleaned it in chem dip, now I cannot get it to do anything more than pop and fire a few times in a row. puddlejumper 67 #8 Posted February 26, 2013 Somebody else will chime in I am sure, but when you put it back together you may have got your float set to high. I think I would tear it back down and soak it overnight (at least) blow it out with a air gun or a can of carbcleaner with a straw so you can force a flow through all the orifices and see what happens.
