Hammerhead 817 #1 Posted February 25, 2013 Big Horse pulling a little Deere! I had some gravel work to do on my drive way so I got out my 310-8 speeder with a newly mounted snow plow on it and piled up some gravel to spread around. I just got this little JD dump cart so I figured I'd see how much weight it could handle. I shoveled in a heavy load of gravel and noticed one of the tires was low. I filled the tire and it worked pretty good with all that weight. It dumped well and it did a good job. Hopefully nobody drove by and seen the red one pulling a green one! Charlie Smith 142 #3 Posted February 25, 2013 Just chuck a coat of red pain over it and maybe a wheel horse sticker. no one will know the difference. Charlie.

Tankman 3,523 #5 Posted February 25, 2013 Paint it red! That's right! Red! Don't forget some decals too! Right now, terrible! Looks awful! A quick-fix is needed!
roscoemi 245 #6 Posted February 26, 2013 The buddy that gave me my C-121 gave me an identical cart as yours. It's a sight I'm used to! I haven't been able to kill mine yet despite overloading it and dragging it all over hells half acre.
WheelHorse79 271 #7 Posted February 26, 2013 That looks like a model 50 JD dump cart. They are sturdy little carts and will last forever if you take care of them. I have a model 80 dump cart that was built in 1966 and is still going strong. I love both Wheel Horse and John Deere lawn and garden equipment. In my opinion, you have the best of both worlds there! Wheel-N-It 2,976 #11 Posted March 4, 2013 Nooooooo, don't paint it red. I would love to have that trailer coupled up to my 1969 JD140 H3

Jake Kuhn 1,579 #13 Posted March 5, 2013 I'll admit to doing the same. I use a jd model 80 with my tractors. I haven't had the guts to put a picture of it up yet. Deere actually made some really good carts and mine was free so I like to use it. Jake
