1958 Wheel Horse snow plow from Craigslist!

Recommended Posts

Hammerhead

A lady listed this old snow plow on my local Craigslist, it had been on there for a few weeks and I passed over it a few times. I finally clicked on it and it looked like a 1958-59 style of snow plow. I got out my manual for it and sure enough, it is a 1958 WH snow plow! Price was a measley $20.00!! Couldn't pass it up for that cheap of price! Even has the rounded feet that are usually missing. The long pipe that goes under the tractor is cut or broken off quite a few inches. They welded on a peice of metal to it too. It did not come with the mount for the tractor or lift arm. Does anybody have that laying around that they want to sell? I'd buy it if someone does have an extra set of mounting brackets? May have to fabricate it all and weld on a longer pipe peice too. post-114-0-07215200-1361683160_thumb.jpg

There's a pair of SPR-42 hanger plates on eBay right now, but fabricating those pieces would be simple and cheaper.

Yes - I moved this to the Implements and Attachments forum.

Those are so easy I don't even think the word "fabricate" could be used  . Cool looking plow. Jim

Thanks alot TT. I will probably bid on them, save me some time on the plasma cutter. Pretty easy to make but I can have them shipped to my door and that's easier!
