c175inMA 8 #1 Posted February 23, 2013 Hi, I recently purchased a two stage snowblower for my C-175. It was on a 416H before and the belt is too long. I believe the belt it had was 71 inches long. Does anyone have a two stage snowblower on their C175? Anybody know how long of a belt to use? Also the blower hits the hood when it lifts. Is this normal? Thanks, Paul

JackC 616 #4 Posted February 24, 2013 Others have mentioned the blower hitting the hood when the 44 inch blower is used in the C Series.
rwilson 128 #5 Posted February 25, 2013 it seems to only be the black hoods.
c175inMA 8 #6 Posted February 27, 2013 The blower was hitting the hood but i raised the hood up about an inch and a half and it's not so bad anymore. It turned out i had the right belt i was just routing it wrong Wow this thing blows snow a long way! Now i just need some roller chains on the front wheels so i can actually steer it, and some weight in the back so i'm not riding in the air when the blower is raised....
