gneuzil 0 #1 Posted February 23, 2013 Just bought a 520H with a new complete motor installed aprox 10 hrs ago. My question is if Onan has done anything to help the valve seat problem in their replacement motors or are they still building them like the did when they were installed in the 80s? Kelly 1,033 #3 Posted February 23, 2013 If you take care of it it should last 1000+ hours with no problems, I've seen and had a few high hour Onans with no problems, good fuel, change the oil, air filter, keep it clean and decarbon it at about 500 hours should be good, your lucky to have a fresh Onan I love mine.
