The engine was in pieces in the tote. The blower was part of the deal.

I put the engine together to see if it will run. If all goes well, I will tear it down again and thoroughly clean and replace all the gaskets.

It will make you a nice worker when you are finished. Good luck with it. How far are you going with the overall rebuild/restore?

I'm liking the idea of cleaning it up, but not a complete resto. The engine is what need the most attention. The only missing pieces are the headlights and an exhaust manifold.

I'm the same way about my Horses. I need them for working, not showing. I do want them in top shape mechanically, and I want them to look good. I want all the parts there and I want paint on the parts that should be painted, but not show quality. That leaves me extra money for another Horse :)

Good luck with your tractor and the "engine in a box"!

I got the engine together and on it. Everything was good, so the engine is back off and in the garage for a good cleaning and new gaskets.
