reassembly of my 552

Ok I finally am ready to start assembly of my 552 but I am unsure of what lenght of 3/8 bolts to use to bolt the frame to the transmission. Im sure to long of ones will interfere inside the trans, mind you I took this apart almost 5 yrs ago and most of yhe bolt were in such bad shape we just about completley destroyed them getting them out.

The parts list has them as 3/4" long. With the older tractors the parts list actually tells you what the bolt is, not just the part #.

Where do i find this parts list that you speak of ?? i would love to look at it if is available online.

The parts list is in the back of your owners manual. If you don't have one, you can download one from the "manuals" section of this forum.

The manual for your 552 is titled "Tractor 1962 502 552 702 Suburban OM IPL.pdf"

I would make sure to use grade 8 bolts and yeah I only use 3/4" bolts
