Did you check your oil level to make sure it's full?

I would agree with Butch sounds like it's low on fluid and being out in the cold like that it won't work. I would get it inside and check the oil level in the trans.and find the leak. Probably go ahead and drain it, replace the filter and put in new 10W30 motor oil.

A bit of advice if I may. If you have to store the tractor outside don't let the blade rest on the ground. I place two small pieces of 2x4, about 8" long, under the ends of the blade and lower it to the blocks of wood. That way the cutting edge of the blake won't freeze to the ground. It will rise off the wooden blocks very easily.

Good luck with the hydro. It sounds like the fluid is low.

Sounds like pligged filter which will affect charge pressure. Usually the lift wil go first then fwd rev motion.

If the tractor needs to be stored outside, I would recommend using synthetic oil when you do the change.
