zeedubbya 18 #1 Posted February 11, 2013 Just picked up a new Clevis Hitch off EBay for my 520h. Feel like I got a fairly good deal. It was a little incomplete--nothing I didnt have laying around except for the stabilizer plate. My question Is is the stabilizer plate an absolute necessity? Can I use a plow without any problems or should I make one? Thanks!
leeave96 487 #2 Posted February 11, 2013 I don't think you want to use the stabilizer plate. I believe you want the moldboard plow to fit loose on the hitch - sort of float. That may be specified in the manual, can't remember off hand, but I read that somewhere and is how I use mine. Good luck, Bill
