sorekiwi 761 #3 Posted February 11, 2013 I normally use a small slide hammer with 2 jaws on the end of it. I think I have also knocked them out with a long drift down through the axle tube. Keep in mind that it is not very good practice to remove them this way, by hitting them on the inner race (while the outer race is tight in the housing) you run the risk of putting a small flat spot on the balls or in the races.
