rmaynard 16,350 #2 Posted February 2, 2013 In my opinion, yes, it will be a problem. Flywheels are cheap and readily available. Please read other threads on the same subject such as
Anglo Traction 761 #3 Posted February 2, 2013 (edited) I know of one person who has ground off the opposite Fin to re-balance a Flywheel (in UK)and he still has his Foot and Leg (so far). I personally would Junk it and replace it. You'll have an advantage over there of several offers for one and they appear to be plentiful and cheap(unlike in UK). Prevention is better than a cure!. Wheel-N-It 2,976 #4 Posted February 3, 2013 (edited) Too dangerous to reuse. Dont throw it away if there are magnets inside, you may need them at a later time. Do buy another good used flywheel. Edited February 3, 2013 by Wheel-N-It
