SMITTY 23 #1 Posted January 23, 2013 I'm back. Got the carb hooked up now looking for help on the magneto shut off. Is there a wire that runs form the rectifer to the magneto to shut the engine off and do what do you hook it to. All this stuff was unhooked when I bought this lawn ranger. I know the wire runs fromn the ignition switch to the rectiver panel but therw has to be a wire that grounds the mag. Help Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted January 23, 2013 There is an insulated post on the the diode board that is labeled "MAG" which is used for the kill wire connection point. A wire from the grounding post on the magneto should connect to the "MAG" post on the diode board. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
