Nice January thaw day... Kids playing with 'Horse

Hello All,

boy is was a nice day today and I was outside doing some chores.... one of them was dragging the Xmas tree carcass out into the woods. My kids had a pair of cheap plastic sleds that I had rigged up to tow behind my ATV at ludicrous speed and they where playing with them.

Next thing I know my B80-8 with a yank start Mag 8 is ripping around the yard. This has been the hardest working tractor of my fleet and it was just a tractor I threw together. I got the motor for free due to a snapped camshaft, when I opened it up I found that the camshaft had to have been broken for awhile and the non replaceable crank gear that drives the cam was worn right down to almost nothing.

I took a chance and just threw a used camshaft in it.... I thought it would blow up or quit but its been many years. Motor is showing its age and is huffing and puffing. Im going to run it till it won't run anymore and then bench it.... not worth a new crank and rod, piston, rings, blah blah blah on just an 8.

Anyways... heres a short video of them screwing around with whats left of the snow.

Funny you should mention the pool.... My daughter walked out on top of it. I didn't see it and that was after I have caught her several times getting ready too and me telling her it was dangerous and not too. Today I told her i was serious and if i caught her or her brother doing it again there would be heck to pay. I never thought it was neccesary with a 10 and a 12 yr old. (Son is older) to put the lock back on the gate but tommorrow it will be.

P.S.--of the two my daughter is the hell raising dare devil... go figure :banghead:
