Anyone have a fuel pump? WTB

My fuel pump on my C-101 has failed me and isn't pumping fuel...is there any way to fix it or does someone have one they would like to sell?

I may be wrong, but you should be able to find a replacement diaphragm for that fuel pump.

Bought one on line for my 12 hp Kohler, was about $25. They are now plastic bodied. Keepin my metal body one for a rebuild.

Rebuild kits are available for some pumps. You will need to take yours apart and check to see whether or not it is rebuildable, then go to http://www.maritimed...motive_chri.htm and order a rebuild kit. I have successfully rebuilt two pumps with their kits.

Likewise, except that I got my replacement from my local NAPA dealer.

I'm not a big fan of the plastic pumps. The fittings on these are also plastic. I cut one of my fuel lines just a tad too long, and over a period of six months or so it stressed one of the fittings enough that fuel started leaking. It was easy enough to fix, but I don't think it would have happened with the original metal-bodied pump.

I kept my old one, too, I'll try rebuilding it before I'll buy another plastic one.
