Its not a sticker, its an engraved metal plate.

I have never seen one. Could you post a picture of the tag you are needing?

This is a pic of one i found on google. Its the entire metal plate between the throttle controls. A reproduction would be better than what i have right now, which is a blank metal plate.

Here's a semi-legible one, TD:

This is what they usually end up looking like:

Apparently they were made of nickel-plated steel.

Of course I do not do metal tags but if I had the dimensions I will try to make a thick Brushed aluminum

reproduction that would certainly look nicer.

A sticker could be placed over a new 'base plate', so you're certainly still in the game. :handgestures-thumbup:

If Ken (chevelletown) doesn't beat me to it, I have the info. Finding it may be a problem. :hide:

I found my "cleaned-up" pattern, but have no idea what the dimensions are any more. (I sold my 400 a few years ago)

This is all I can give you, TD:

The back border is not part of the plate.

I just redrew from your first post TT

All we need are accurate dimensions of the hxw

and apply the decal to a refurbished tag.

If you can make up a decal i will buy one, let me know how they turn out.

1.75 x 4.0 -- I could send you the actual plate if that would help make things easier

If Ken still makes them, they are very nice repros. Bought one from him a couple of years ago. BUT, I would not be opposed at all to buying a nice decal to attach to the old plate if I needed another one.
