Wheel Horse HL-5 Light Kit Question

I recently acquired a set and they had a set of extensions on them. I was told by a good friend and reliable source that the extensions were stock from the factory. I was just wondering if there was ever a manual that showed the extensions as an option?

Those look exactly like the original stock HL-5 Headlights & arms from the factory, very valuable themselves.

I've never seen a set of the extensions, I have a few sets of the HL-5 light kits, I'd be curious to know if they are factory also.

Thanks glen i guess my question is regarding the approx 6" extensions that are this set. Ive seen other set that were extended just wondered if this was an option

I believe they were just someone's clean & creative way of getting the lights up over a dozer blade or thrower.

I have never seen or heard mention of a factory extensions for that light kit. :confusion-shrug:
