Wheel-N-It 2,972 #1 Posted December 22, 2012 Hey Guys, I am changing the oil in the C125 I brought home a few days ago. It has a 12hp K kohler. It is rubber mounted. I need to know the oil capacity for this engine. It is my first rubber mounted Wheel Horse. If someone could jump in while the old oil is draining out, that sure would help me. Thank you and Merry Christmas! Van

rmaynard 16,077 #4 Posted December 22, 2012 (edited) The "nominal" capacity is 1-1/2 qts, but the best procedure as recommend in the manual is to put in a quart then slowly add oil until the full mark is reached on the dip stick. Wheel-N-It 2,972 #6 Posted December 23, 2012 Thank you Guys It took 1 quart, and 26ozs to fill it. I sure would like to see this engine hold more oil, but I know its engineered to this specification. On the other hand the solid mounted kohler K341 in the 416-8 I bought a few weeks ago holds 2 quarts, and 29 ozs of oil.
