I thought the 1960 Suburbans where the first to have foot rest.

I have never seen a pair on a RJ35. You could buy them over the counter back in the day, so if you went to a WH dealer in 1958, they would have sold you a pair of the diamond plate RJ58 style footrest's. But I only found one peice of WH paperwork that confirms a foot rest. A Price list from October 1 1959 shows a mention of Foot Pads. Model # FP 5lbs. and they cost $2.00 each. LOL

Anybody have a price List from 1958??? Hope so...Keith

Yes till pumping out water at the moment from the flooding, fortunatly it didnt come into the house but it was very close.

I bought the tractor From Micheal Martino a couple of months ago and i am just waiting to have is imported to UK and i am just trying to fill up the crate with other stuff to save $$ on shipping costs

I am looking for a snow blower for an RJ or suburban if anyone has one that they are selling , id be interested.

Hi Neil, both my RJ's dont have footrest's. i put some handlebar rubbers from halfords on one and managed to find some footrest's at the Wheelhorse show shaped like a foot for the 58. my 35 has an orginal blade on the front and would'nt be to hard to copy!! let me know if you want photos

For Those that like pics , here is the tractor in question.

From what i understand, this tractor has the rare pressed steel chassis, can anyone tell me anything about it?

or i supose i should go ,Straight to the Horses Mouth, and ask Mike himself being that i bought the tractor from him

The stamped steel frame was used late 55 to early of 56. Wheel horse thought they could use them because they were cheaper, but I think some of them had some issues so they then went back to the channel iron frame. Thats a nice tractor Neil!
