trainman 0 #1 Posted November 15, 2012 Yup I still have the 211-5 WH tractor. Over the summer I replaced the voltage regulator, found a good used tire the right rear tire. Just got done with the leaves. and the Alternator died. So over the winter going to replace the alternator, ignition switch,a new high back seat, rebuilding the starter, and possibly service- rebuild the pto. Only thing is the pto brake for my tractor is discontinued. I told folks about it on here a while ago I was told it can be relined but don't have the tools for that if someone maybe can do that service for me. I also want to repaint the tractor as well in the future and either find nos or get new decals made for it. I have never seen after market decals for my 211-5 tractor. SousaKerry 503 #2 Posted November 15, 2012 Is this the electric or manual PTO?
trainman 0 #3 Posted November 15, 2012 I think Manual I don't see any wires coming out of it. the tractor was built in 1984. To engage it it's just a lever not a switch.
sgtsampay 117 #4 Posted November 15, 2012 I have a whole pro clutch from a 211-5 that has a good bit of meat on it and is in good condition if you are interested. Also, you are correct about having a hard time looking for pets for those type of pros..
trainman 0 #5 Posted November 17, 2012 do you have a photo of the pto brake? I was going to tear my pto apart this winter it will be 28 years old I am guessing the bearings and oil seals are shot. what tools do I need to rebuild the pto I know I need a steel punch to get the pin out not sure what type of pliers for the rings.
