1100 special with a briggs lights question.

ok i have this 1100 with the 11hp briggs.

as you can see i have a pair of halogen lights on it. they are pretty bright.

my question is can i install another set of halogen lights or will it be too much for the stator on the briggs.

it has a 3 amp stator i do believe.

both sets of lights are 55 watt models.

i also have duel bulb tail lights on it too.

i'm just wondering and do not want to burn up the stator.

That sure sounds like a lot of Watts, however it will also depend on how often and for how long you run the lights. If your battery is in good shape, and you only use the lights a few minutes at a time you are probably ok, but I would not add any more load to your system as it is now.

i think i'm just gonna swap the ones i have now for a set of 3 1/2 inch lights.
