Steering Reduction Conversion

Thinking about putting a steering reduction unit I have on my C 141 that has a FEL on it. Just curious if any one has done the conversion before. I have got everything to convert but was wondering about the angle and length of the upper steering shaft to the steering wheel. If it's going to be a bunch of mods to get the angle right going through the dash I really don't want to mess the dash up. Any thoughts or impute would be appreciated.
